Alba Regia Faculty of Obuda University Participated in the BIP – Sustainable Transport Programme in Košice

Faculty members and students of the Alba Regia Faculty of Obuda University participated in the international “BIP – Sustainable Transport” programme held at the Technical University of Košice between 20–24 April 2026. The event aimed to promote knowledge exchange on sustainable mobility, environmental protection, and innovative technological solutions while strengthening international academic cooperation.

The Alba Regia Faculty was represented by Dr. habil. Éva Hajnal Nagyné, Dr. habil. Péter Udvardy, and Dr. Bertalan Beszédes as academic staff, together with students Zoltán Boldizsár Tóth, Levente Károsi, Beáta Szuroczki, Mátyás Kovács, and Bence Ulrich.

During the programme, the faculty members delivered presentations focusing on sustainability and industrial innovation:

  • Machine Vision for Sustainable Industry – Dr. habil. Éva Hajnal Nagyné
  • Sustainable Environmental Monitoring – Dr. habil. Péter Udvardy
  • Environmental Impacts of Reusing Industrial Components – Dr. Bertalan Beszédes

The presentations addressed topics such as machine vision applications in sustainable industrial processes, modern approaches to environmental monitoring, and the environmental benefits and challenges of reusing industrial components. The shared research findings and practical examples contributed to the participants’ understanding of innovative solutions supporting sustainable transport and development.

The programme was supported by several distinguished partner institutions, including the Technical University of Košice (TUKE) and the University of Alba Iulia (UAB), both actively engaged in sustainability-oriented education and research.

The event provided valuable opportunities for international collaboration, academic networking, and the exchange of ideas related to sustainable development and technological innovation.
