Successful CS+P Conference 2026 at Obuda University’s Rejtő Faculty

On 9 June 2026, the CS+P Conference was successfully held at the Rejtő Sándor Faculty of Light Industry and Environmental Engineering of Obuda University, bringing together nearly 80 professionals from across the packaging and printing sectors. The event was jointly organized by the Institute of Media Technology and Light Industry and the Technical Association of the Paper and Printing Industry.

With a history spanning more than two decades, the conference once again focused on current challenges and opportunities related to packaging technology, printing industry developments, and sustainability. Participants explored topics including packaging regulations, recycled materials, sustainable packaging solutions, and future trends in printed packaging.

The event was opened by Dr. habil. László Koltai, Dean of the Rejtő Faculty, and Gábor Tóth, Managing Director of the Technical Association of the Paper and Printing Industry and the Printing and Paper Industry Federation.

Key presentations addressed the latest developments regarding PPWR regulations, the regulatory framework for recycled materials in food applications, and innovative approaches that support reduced material use and the transition towards a circular economy.

The conference concluded with the presentation of the Hungaropack Student Awards, recognizing outstanding achievements by the next generation of packaging professionals.

Beyond knowledge sharing, the event provided valuable opportunities for networking, collaboration, and strengthening partnerships between academia and industry, supporting the development of more sustainable and innovative packaging solutions.
