Óbuda University has reached another milestone in its commitment to sustainability: we have entered into a partnership with GreenGo, Budapest’s car-sharing service operating exclusively with electric vehicles. The goal of the collaboration is to make environmentally friendly transportation alternatives accessible to the ÓU community in their daily commute.
As part of the agreement, our students and staff can use GreenGo’s services under discounted conditions. The discount program is easy to access: after registering with a university e-mail address, users automatically gain access to the more favorable pricing packages.
GreenGo’s electric vehicle fleet operates in a flexible, per-minute system, allowing everyone to use the cars according to their individual needs – whether for shorter city trips or longer-distance travel. The service is available entirely through a mobile application, enabling quick use without the need for in-person administration.
This agreement fits perfectly into our sustainability strategy: the university actively supports the development of green mobility and encourages the community to take small steps toward a sustainable future and choose greener solutions in everyday life.
