AI Employee Training Programs

AI Training for Obuda University Employees

The concept of Life-Long Learning (LLL) is based on the idea that learning continues throughout our lives, helping us acquire new skills and adapt to the challenges of a changing world. Therefore, Obuda University considers it a priority to ensure that its employees have access to up-to-date knowledge.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is at the heart of today’s digital revolution, significantly impacting education, research, the economy, and society. Recognizing both the opportunities and challenges of AI, Obuda University has developed a comprehensive institutional AI Strategy (AI Campus). Its goal is to responsibly, ethically, and efficiently integrate AI tools into all operational areas of the university.

As the first stage of the program focusing on employee training, all interested staff members are invited to participate in an AI (Prompt Engineering) course. The course consists of three one-hour sessions, each offered at two different times. (Currently, registration is open for the first session; the following two will be organized later this year.)

Topics covered include:
• What AI is—and what it is not
• What is Generative AI and why has it become popular?
• How to formulate effective prompts
• What tools can be used

The lecture will be held online via Microsoft Teams and delivered by Sándor Seres, AI Instructor and external expert of the John von Neumann Faculty of Informatics. Participants will learn about the fundamental capabilities of modern large language models and AI platforms (e.g., ChatGPT), as well as techniques for effective prompt design and prompt engineering. These skills will support the practical use of AI in daily work and personal life.

The session is free of charge but requires registration.

A Teams invitation will be sent based on registration.

Registration deadline for the next session (same content):

  • November 3, 2025 (Monday), 13:00–14:00.

Applications accepted until October 31, 14:00.

Note: Participation in AI training does not entitle to professional development leave.
