The 4th Ybl Conference on the Built Environment 2026 invites participants to an international scientific and professional platform that creates opportunities for dialogue and collaboration within the broadly interpreted disciplinary framework of the built environment. The aim of the conference is to connect the leading actors of higher education and research in the Carpathian Basin within a shared knowledge space, with particular focus on architecture, architectural engineering, and related interdisciplinary fields.
The conference not only presents but actively builds the interdisciplinary knowledge bridge that connects future researchers, institutions, and shared values. The slogan “East Central Europe: Let’s Build Together!” refers simultaneously to shared professional responsibility, regional cohesion, and the creative mindset that shapes the built environment – both in physical and intellectual terms.
Languages of the conference: English and Hungarian.
Participation in the conference is free of charge for both presenters and attendees; however, registration is required.
